My favorite spot in town for Mexican food! Never have had a bad meal or much less service, everyone is very nice. Food always comes out so hot, chips and salsa are great. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu..this pictured is the Jaxson special, two sour cream enchiladas and a new york strip to your liking!!
Ok it was pretty busy when my wife and I went but we were seated within 5 minute, not bad right. Im terrible with names but our server was amazing, I got what she recommended which I wasn't on the menu and yes I forgot the name. BUT I tell you what its was a 10 out of 10 certified smacker, im talking deliciouso, welcome to flavor town! I'll definitely be back!
We sat in the room with the lights and plants, it’s beautiful and uplifting! We ordered the burger, pork chops, and huevos rancheros. Excellent food and service!
3rd time there while working on flood victims houses. Food and service has always top shelf. I've paid much more for for steaks that were lesser quality than the ones I had here.
Stopped by for lunch. Being from Texas, I've had more Mexican food than I can count. This is the very first time I was able to cut beef fajitas with a fork. Usually they vary in tenderness from the different restaurants. Everything was great. The salsa had a little kick, but I seek spicy stuff so I'm good with it. Our waitress was great! Our tea glasses never ran dry and the food came out fast, considering it was in the middle of the lunch rush. This is my new go to place when I'm on San Angelo.
I love the coziness of this restaurant. As soon as you walk in you are in the main space. There is a second part that is more of a patio style. The art and decor is an experience and great eye candy as you survey the room. We were able to choose our seats and drinks (coke products ) came quickly. We were served crispy chips and salsa. The salsa was warm and pleasantly spicy. The menu has lots of enchilada options. It is not a big menu, but there is something for everyone. They have a kids menu with really reasonable pricing. The food came out quickly and it was hot and fresh. The only drawback was the kids plate also came out hot and even though we told our child not to, she accidently touched it while trying to cut her enchiladas. The fresh tortillas are so warm and comforting. Our meal was satisfying. There is a dessert menu.
My husband and I have been going to Armentas at least once a week for years. The food and service is ALWAYS GREAT! We usually sit in the “patio” area. The waitresses trade off days but there is only one. Each one does a GREAT JOB! I couldn’t take care of that many by myself. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive. We always have a full glass and full bowl of chips. Thank you for the good service…
Cute spot near paint rock road. The food is delicious and it is super affordable with good portions. The parking is tight and can be difficult to navigate. They are able to seat around 9 but it’s tight. They can move chairs but the tables are locked in. They do not take reservations but we were seated fast. The ambiance is cute inside and it’s air conditioned even in the “patio” area.
